COVID-19 Response at The Hollinger House

As COVID-19 follows us into the fall, we at The Hollinger House want to assure our guests that we are continuing to adapt and change our policies and procedures to help prevent the spread of the virus. We understand that now, more than ever, a retreat from the stresses of daily life is essential, and it is our responsibility to help you travel with confidence. Therefore, we are following all CDC guidelines and continuing to follow news regarding the virus to help us best combat its spread. Please see the following policy and procedure changes listed below. And please, reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns regarding our COVID-19 response. Thank you!

COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

Mask Policy

Staff are required to wear a mask at all times.
Guests are required to wear masks in indoor common areas unless seated for breakfast.

Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures

Guest rooms are left empty for one day before and after each guest to allow time for deeper cleaning and decontamination.
Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the inn.
All frequently touched surfaces are disinfected regularly.

Contactless Check-Ins & Check-Outs

Contactless Check-ins and check-outs have been implemented to help lessen close in-person contact.

Check in: Each guest will receive a text or email with the front door code and instructions on entering the front door. Inside, each guest will receive a note with their name on it with directions on how to get to their room. Room keys will be left in the room door. Innkeepers are on-call in case of emergency.

Check out: We are still collecting payment at the inn for each stay. Each guest will need to provide payment information to the innkeepers before leaving the inn. After breakfast, see the innkeeper for instructions on contactless payment.

Scheduled Breakfast Times
Breakfast is served between 8:30am and 9:00am. This shorter scheduled breakfast time allows us to serve you with as little close personal contact as possible.

Socially Distanced Breakfast Seating
Breakfast seating is separated by at least 6 feet
Guests may only sit at a table with guests from their own party
