Deposits & Cancellations
Since we guarantee your reservation, rooms are not held without a deposit. Once we reserve a room for you, we remove it from the market, refusing all other requests. For this reason, we are unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy. If this is a concern for you, we highly recommend that you consider travel insurance, which is widely available and will compensate you in the event that unforeseen circumstances or family emergencies disrupt your plans.
A deposit of 100% of your first night is required to hold your room at The Hollinger House. Full payment is due at check-out.
Please let us know as soon as possible** if you must cancel your reservation. We will make every effort to rebook your room to avoid your loss of deposit. However, the following policy is in effect for all cancellations:
Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival date will have their deposit refunded.
**Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival forfeit their deposit, unless we can re-rent the room(s) for their entire reservation.
Group reservations and events require a 30-day cancellation notice, as well as a 20% deposit at the time of booking. There are no refunds for group reservations or events within 30 days of the group rental or event.
There are no refunds for early departure.
Check-In & Check-Out
Regular check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are happy to accommodate early check-ins, when possible, if you contact us in advance.
Late check-in arrangements will be made for guests who cannot arrive before 5pm with advance notice.
Check-out is by 11 a.m on the day of your departure.
